mdbase Connect downloads

Install mdbase Connect on your computer to make local Markdown folders available to approved applications. The desktop app includes the mdbase Connector, its background service, and the command-line tools.

The mdbase editor is available online. These builds are public beta releases; hosted collections require a free Connect account.

Desktop app

Choose the package for your computer. The app installs the Connector and can open local mdbase collections immediately; hosted Connect features require an account.

Signing and notarization

Windows may show an Unknown Publisher or SmartScreen warning. macOS requires a manual Privacy & Security override and the app has not been notarized. The release includes checksums and Sigstore provenance.

Command line

The standalone archive contains the unified mdbase CLI and Connect background service. It does not include the desktop interface.
